Surry County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Division is responsible for the management of all agency reports to include incident reports, warrants, criminal summonses, civil processes and subpoenas. In addition, staff maintains NCIC files on wanted and missing persons, stolen vehicles, guns and property, etc. along with the NCAWARE automated warrant database. The staff also processes all purchase and concealed handgun permits, sex offender registrations and domestic violence orders.
Additional duties of the Administrative staff include maintaining employment records for Human Resources and North Carolina Sheriffs’ Training and Standards along with accounts payable records, purchase orders and supplies.
